In The UK We’re Spending more Than We Make.

Britons Still Spend More than They make.
I don’t believe it. Yet again I have encountered another editorial that tells us we are still spending lots morethan we make.

According to a survey 5.4 million of us in the UK are recurrently spending lots morethan we make every single month. Even if we do not overspend then we’re barely breaking even.
Something else that shocked me was how little disposable wages we have every month when all the bills have been paid for. The figure of one hundred quid; can’t do much with that these days!
Why are we doing this? No doubt some of us are using our valuable wages to pay off mounting credit card debt. Our thinning disposable wages goes towards minimum repayments every month, so much so, that we have a tendency to pave the way for running up even more credit card debt. Why? Because we could do with more funds and we’ve by now used the overdraft.

It is actually quite surprising that even now we are in such a mess. Fair enough things are looking up but our Debt Management ability really need to sharpen up.

About a 3rd of us have by now foreseen that we’ll be worse off this year than last, and upwards of half of us aren’t expecting an earnings increase. Does this not fill us with dread? Apparently not enough because increasingly we’re hearing the same thing over and over; we have a tendency to spend lots morethan we make.

Until we stop doing this and get control of our funds we are still on no account going to be able to apply first-class Debt Management.
Pay day used to be exciting. You’d go out, enjoy yourself, maybe buy yourself a small treat yet still have plenty to pay the essentials.
The difference these days is that pay day isn’t so pleasurable. All we can think about is how its all accounted for. What have we got to show for working hard all month other than paying bills and worrying ourselves sick to death?
So what do we do to cheer ourselves up? Not surprisingly we go out and hit the town, use the overdraft and acquire a small luxury, refusing to be dictated by life and its miseries. Snag is we’re generating some of this anxiety ourselves and it can simply get worse if we won’t deal with it.
I don’t know about you but it does not truly make sense to me. What is the intention in burying your head in the sand if the subsequent month it’s just the same if not worse? In fact the cost of living isn’t getting slightly better is it.

Perhaps we may start budgeting and see where we may cut back on expenditure. Then we ought to examine dealing with that debt. Things just like Debt Consolidation can free up income each month for instance. However it does not remove our accountability it gives us a fighting chance.

It will probably be tough to begin with but when we notice our disposable wages increasing, we become less harassed and less apt to run up even more debt.
There is certainly often a solution somewhere. Whether we tighten the belt for a bit and pay off debts quicker, or put it all into one bundle as with Debt Consolidation to cope with it bit better, then we have taken the opening action to making next month a little better.
